Is it safe for puppies, kittens, and sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formulas are tear‑free, pH‑balanced, and free of sulfates and parabens. They’re designed to be gentle for puppies, kittens, and pets with sensitive skin.
What are the key ingredients?
Keratin, biotin (vitamin B), aloe vera, and jojoba oil for strength and moisture—finished with light lavender and plum oil scents. No harsh chemicals.
Can I use the same shampoo on dogs, cats, and horses?
Yes—Presto is formulated to be safe for dogs, cats, and horses. For best results, follow the usage notes for each species on the label.
How long does a bottle last?
Typically 12–16 baths per 16 oz bottle (more for short coats). Gallon sizes are popular for multi‑pet homes and groomers.
Is it tear‑free?
Yes. Our gentle, pH‑balanced formula is designed to be tear‑free when used as directed. Avoid direct contact with eyes and rinse promptly if contact occurs.
Does it help with dry or itchy skin?
Aloe vera and jojoba oil soothe dry, flaky skin while keratin and biotin support a healthy coat. Always consult your vet for persistent skin concerns.
What does it smell like?
A clean, subtle finish with light notes of lavender and plum oil—never heavy perfumes. The scent rinses down to a fresh, not‑overpowering aroma.
What is the most efficient way to use Presto Pet Shampoo?
To get the best lather, shake the bottle thoroughly, add soap to a sponge (we find a loofah sponge works the best), smear soap on the pet, add a little water to the sponge and pet, and then watch the formula clean your pet. After lathering your pet, rinse very thoroughly until the water runs clean and you don’t see the jojoba oil anymore.
How do I use and can it be diluted?
Not recommended. Presto is balanced at-use; diluting can change pH and weaken preservatives. For light cleaning, just use a smaller amount and lather with water on the coat.
Is it safe for frequent bathing?
Yes. The formula is gentle enough for regular grooming schedules and active pets that need more frequent baths. The jojoba oil replenishes the oil in the skin, while other shampoos strip the oils.
